Due to regulations for transport of dangerous goods by air (IATA) and road (ADR), consumers are not permitted to ship Tech-Air® products themselves for return or servicing. In the event of a return or service request you must therefore deliver the goods in person to one of our Tech-Air® Hubs. Please ensure you first contact our Customer Care team to receive confirmation of the correct Hub and approval before visiting.

What safety features and certifications does the S-R7 Solid Helmet have?
The S-R7 Solid Helmet is homologated to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards and uses a pre-preg multi-composite shell combining carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass for lightweight strength and impact performance. Inside, the helmet uses a size-specific multi-density EPS liner with seven pieces in six densities to optimize energy absorption.
It also incorporates Alpinestars’ low-friction slip-plane coating to help reduce rotational acceleration in oblique impacts, plus PLASMA inserts in the collarbone recesses to improve shock absorption in key contact areas. Additional protection details include an Emergency Release System in the cheek pads and a secure shield locking mechanism.

Yes, the S-R7 Solid Helmet is Pinlock® compatible. The Optical Class 1 shield includes pins for a Pinlock® 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens, and the shield also features double-sided anti-scratch treatment for durability and optical clarity.
The helmet’s front ventilation system is also designed to help manage misting. Adjustable chin vents and the central chin intake direct airflow toward the inner shield surface to reduce fog buildup in changing temperatures or lower-speed riding conditions.
